How to use OpenSCAD

  1. Click Generate above to download the .scad file (a text script for OpenSCAD).
  2. Install OpenSCAD (free, Windows / macOS / Linux).
  3. In OpenSCAD, open the downloaded .scad file (File → Open…).
  4. Click the Render button (the rainbow/spiral icon) — the model will appear on the right. It may take a little while for complex mazes.
  5. Click Export → Export as STL… to save the printable .stl mesh.
  6. Slice the STL with your favourite slicer (Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer, PrusaSlicer…) and print!

Tip: if the render looks slow or heavy, reduce Maze complexity (X) or Number of outer sides (s), or use a smaller core.
